Please submit a 250 to 300-word abstract. The abstract should not exceed 300 words. It should be in MS Word format. Read more details in the templates below. You are also required to send the authors’ profile information by following the sample given in the templates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS
Congratulation for being accepted as a paper presenter in ILS 2024. In order to ensure the smooth-running of this symposium, outlined here are important information related to your presentations.
Virtual Platform:
As this is an online symposium, the virtual platform that will be used is ZOOM. Thus, please ensure that you have access to the ZOOM platform.
Communication before the symposium:
Announcements will be posted regularly on the symposium website: https://conference.iium.edu.my/ILS2024/. Please refer to the announcements for registrations/submissions/current updates.
Communication during the symposium:
A hotline (03-6421 3517) and email (ilscelpad@iium.edu.my) will be made available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 26th and 27th November 2024 to assist with any matters or queries. Please also refer to the announcements for the latest updates from the secretariat throughout the symposium.
Presentation schedule:
A schedule for the presentations for all papers and forums will be posted on the ILS 2024 official website. Please check the slot assigned for your presentation.

Pre-recorded Videos
The videos should have clear audio and visuals. Please upload your video to your own Google Drive to get the sharing link for the video. Submit the link via this online form: https://forms.gle/3RkJqJqNpb8NPGjM8 by 15 November 2024. Ensure that access is set to ‘anyone with the link can view’.
Your video recordings should not exceed 10 minutes.

1.1 Video Presentation Format
- Presentations should be in the English language, Bahasa Melayu, Arabic or Mandarin.
- There should be no background music.
- The first slide should include the title of your paper, the author’s name, and your affiliation (e.g., IIUM, UKM, etc.). You may also include your photo.
- Please ensure that your presentation slides are clearly visible.
- The video resolution should be of high definition (720p or 1080p) to prevent any-screening related issues. Please do not use high bandwidth applications to produce your videos. The suggested platforms are Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Screencast-o-Matic, PowerPoint slides. You are welcome to use creative ways for the presentation.
1.2 Instructions for Presenters
- All paper presentations will be conducted through pre-recorded video presentation method.
- Please ensure that you are present during your respective slot as allotted in the parallel session.
- The committee will play your video, and you are required to be available for a live Q&A session immediately after your video presentation.
GUIDELINES FOR FULL PAPER SUBMISSION
We are delighted to invite you to submit your full paper to be published in the CELPAD Research Ebook 2025 with ISBN. We encourage you to refine and expand your presentation into a formal manuscript for submission. The Ebook aims to document and disseminate the significant work presented at the symposium, advancing the discourse on language teaching and learning in the age of AI.
