AUTHOR GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

All papers must be submitted electronically via Microsoft CMT. Authors are advised to read the following instructions carefully before submitting your paper.

MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS

  1. Use the official conference template provided. Link: https://conference.iium.edu.my/icamme/wp-content/uploads/Springer-paper-template-3.doc
  2. Paper must be written in English and strictly follow the prescribed template.
  3. Paper must be submitted in PDF, DOC, or DOCX format (maximum 10MB), and contain original, unpublished work that is not under review elsewhere.
  4. Non-compliant paper will be returned to authors without review.

REGISTRATION IN MICROSOFT CMT

  1. Go to Microsoft CMT website. Link: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/User/Login
  2. Click “Register”.
  3. Use a valid institutional email address.
  4. Verify your account via email confirmation.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE THROUGH MICROSOFT CMT

  1. Log in
  2. Select “International Conference on Advances in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering 2026” from conference list.
  3. Click “+Create New Submission”
  4. Enter paper information including title, abstract, authors and subject areas and answer additional questions as requested.
  5. Upload the paper and click “Submit”

A confirmation email with a Paper ID will be sent upon successful submission.

REVIEW PROCESS

  1. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  2. Evaluation criteria include originality and novelty, technical quality, relevance to conference themes, clarity and organization
  3. Authors will receive one of the following decisions: Accept as it is, Revision Required, or Reject.
  4. Paper failing to meet scientific quality standards will not be accepted.

REVISION, PUBLICATION & PRESENTATION

  1. Authors must revise their papers according to reviewers’ comments. Failure to adequately address comments may result in rejection.
  2. At least ONE registered author must present the paper at the conference. Papers not presented will not be considered for publication.
  3. Accepted and presented papers will be considered for publication in the conference proceedings, subject to publisher requirements and quality standards.
  4. Authors must submit the required copyright form. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from publication.

ETHICAL POLICY

The conference upholds strict publication ethics standards.

  1. Plagiarism or high similarity index will result in rejection.
  2. AI tools may be used responsibly for language improvement but must not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the content.
  3. Simultaneous submission to other conferences or journals is strictly prohibited.

Submissions found to involve unethical practices will be rejected without review.

LATE SUBMISSION

  1. Authors are reminded to strictly adhere to all important dates as published in a website.
  2. Late submissions will NOT be accepted under any circumstances.
