Dr. ‘Abqariyah Yahya is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, complemented by both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Her research and teaching focus on epidemiology, biostatistics, and health data management. She has extensive experience in managing and analysing large health datasets and has led multiple workshops on data management and research methods for postgraduate students and health researchers. 

Dr. ‘Abqariyah is actively involved in collaborative research projects with national and international partners, including initiatives related to real-world data and public health research. Her work aims to strengthen the use of high-quality data to support evidence-based decision-making in healthcare and public health.
