The International Conference on Real-World Evidence (RWE) 2026 is an academic and professional platform dedicated to advancing the generation, analysis, and application of real-world evidence in healthcare. Organised by the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), RWE 2026 aims to strengthen evidence-informed decision-making across clinical practice, regulation, and health policy.

RWE refers to clinical evidence generated from the analysis of real-world data (RWD) such as electronic health records, insurance claims, registries, and patient-reported outcomes. RWE has gained international traction and is now influencing healthcare policy, regulatory decisions, and precision medicine. The RWE 2026 Conference is designed as a specialized academic platform to bring together healthcare researchers, data scientists, pharmacists, clinicians, and policymakers to explore the latest developments and applications in RWE. This includes discussions on advanced data infrastructure, the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning, methodological best practices, and regulatory perspectives.

While other conferences may focus on general knowledge updates, this conference aims to offer forward-thinking content that will not only update knowledge but also introduce novel tools, frameworks, and international collaborations essential for modern evidence-based healthcare. This is the first time the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, IIUM is organizing a dedicated RWE conference. It complements our previous Big Data Analytics conference in 2019 and will further expand the collaboration with our local and international partners.

RWE 2026 provides a focused forum for interdisciplinary dialogue on methodological innovation, data quality, and the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics in real-world research. The conference brings together international and local experts from academia, healthcare institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry through keynote lectures, scientific sessions, symposia, and workshops to support capacity building, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

By hosting RWE 2026, IIUM seeks to position itself as a regional hub for real-world evidence and health data analytics, while contributing to the development of trustworthy and actionable evidence to improve healthcare outcomes and policy decisions.
