In conjunction with the 40th IIUM Anniversary, Kulliyyah of Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) will be organizing the IIUM National Oral Health Research Initiative Conference, tentatively in 20-21th of October 2023.
This national-level event will serve as an important avenue to uphold the National Oral Health Research Initiative (NOHRI) by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH). With the theme,
‘Transcending Excellence Within the Changing Landscape and Medicolegal Reforms in Dental Practice’,
this conference will be an eminent continuous education platform for the personal and career development of dental and medical practitioners. Considering the continually-changing landscapes in dental practice, the conference also aims at sharing the current evidence-based practice (EBP) research; as well as keeping health practitioners, specifically the dental practitioners abreast with latest policy changes, medicolegal situation and reform relevant to their practice.
Most importantly, this national-scale event will hopefully increase the visibility of Kulliyyah of Dentistry, IIUM at the national level.
