It is an undeniable fact that fresh and clean water is vital for the ecological system to work properly. Rivers are the precious sources of fresh drinking water for people across the world. If rivers are seriously contaminated by industrial waste or unequally distributed by poor water management practices, it can become an issue of life-and-death. However, this continues to happen at the various part of the world.

IIUM River of Life Flagship Project proposes an international conference which is to be organized from 7th to 8th March 2022.

The aim of the conference is to discuss various issues related to rivers ranging from river pollution and its sustainable solution to efficient river management.
