IN CONJUCTION WITH ICRITC’ 24

ABOUT ICRITC’ 24

Every human needs to rise to the occasion in a world of continuous change and rapid evolution. It is no more seen as a choice but as a matter of remaining resilient and adaptive to the current changes underway in the world. There is a need to allow the various historical paths that have shaped previous human civilisation to combat the attempts of standardisation, alienation, and centralist cultural tendencies to restore the Islamic identity and establish its tenets, and lofty allusions. For this matter, ISTAC – IIUM has made an effort to organise the annual International Conference on the Renewal and Reform of Islamic Thought & Civilisation (ICRITC) to provide a platform for scholarly discussion and this year’s theme will focus on enriching Islamic discourse for global civilisational relevance.

ICRITC’24 will be held at ISTAC – IIUM, Jalan Duta Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This conference will be held on 23rd and 24th April 2024.
