With an illustrious career that spans multinational corporations across the United States, China, and beyond, Ir. Riwayat is highly regarded for his mastery in Lean Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), and engineering excellence. As a Registered Professional Engineer and Certified Productivity Specialist, he has not only led more than 3,000 Kaizen initiatives but also trained over 7,000 professionals worldwide in driving process improvements and productivity transformations.
Currently at the helm of Andal Group as its Managing Director, Ir. Riwayat continues to champion forward-thinking leadership rooted in sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence. His journey is a testament to what visionary engineering can achieve on a global scale.
En. Mohd Shahiman Bin Sulaiman
We are deeply honored to welcome En. Mohd Shahiman Bin Sulaiman as our panelist for this year’s prestigious event. A seasoned expert in integrated circuit design, research, and product development, En. Shahiman brings with him over 25 years of experience across North America and Southeast Asia, bridging the realms of innovation, academia, and industry leadership.
Beginning his career as a Design Engineer at Actel Corporation in Sunnyvale, California, En. Shahiman later expanded his impact through academic and research roles at the University of Waterloo and Multimedia University (MMU). His leadership journey continued at MIMOS Berhad, where he rose to Senior Director, leading national research programs and advancing technology commercialization and industry development.
As the founding CEO of TUSAS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., En. Shahiman has been instrumental in driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and cross-border collaboration. His dedication to advancing Malaysia’s high-tech ecosystem is further reflected in his board roles at universities and SMD Semiconductor Sdn. Bhd., a Sarawak-based fabless IC design company.
Holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, En. Shahiman’s career is a testament to visionary leadership anchored in technical excellence and a global outlook.
Dato’ Kamarul Redzuan Bin Muhamed
We are proud to welcome Dato’ Kamarul Redzuan Bin Muhamed, the Group CEO and Managing Director of Uzma Berhad, as our panelist for this year’s distinguished event. As the visionary founder of Uzma, Dato’ Kamarul has played a pivotal role in shaping Malaysia’s energy and technology landscape through innovation, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to advancing industry capabilities.
Dato’ Kamarul holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, USA, and a Master of Science in Geological Oceanography from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. His academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career spanning nearly three decades, with significant contributions in both multinational and homegrown enterprises.
His professional journey includes key roles at Esso Production Malaysia, Smedvig Technologies, and Roxar Asia Pacific, where he led business growth and technological advancements across the Asian region. Since founding Uzma in 2000, Dato’ Kamarul has transformed the company into a leading regional energy and technology group, with operational presence in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Under his stewardship, Uzma has developed groundbreaking solutions such as the Mobile Water Injection Unit (WIF), Ultra High-Speed Pump (ESP), UzmaSAT-1 High-Resolution Earth Observation Satellite, and other proprietary technologies that enhance oil recovery and operational efficiency.
Beyond Uzma, Dato’ Kamarul actively contributes to national industry development through his involvement in advisory panels including Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), and Asia Pacific University (APU). His appointment as the Pro Tem President of the Malaysian Space Industry Consortium (MASIC) underscores his expanding influence in the high-tech and aerospace sectors.
Dato’ Kamarul also serves as a Director of the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), reflecting his dedication to driving sustainable industrial innovation at the national level.
