Welcome to International Research and Innovation Day (IRID) IIUM 2026 

The International Research and Innovation Day (IRID) IIUM 2026 is a premier event hosted by the Research Management Centre of the International Islamic University Malaysia. Since its inception in 2016, IRID has grown into an important platform that brings together academicians, researchers, postgraduate students, industry partners, and research institutes to share groundbreaking discoveries and innovative ideas.

Building on the success of IRID 2024—which featured 126 research presentations and participation from both public and private higher learning institutions—this year’s IRID continues to strengthen IIUM’s commitment to advancing a vibrant research culture. With the theme “Research and Innovation for a MADANI Future,” IRID 2026 highlights multidisciplinary collaboration, impactful research outcomes, and innovative solutions that contribute to national development.

Visitors can look forward to inspiring keynote sessions, poster and oral presentations, research exhibitions, and opportunities for networking and partnership building. IRID 2026 aims not only to celebrate the achievements of IIUM researchers but also to catalyse new research directions and foster a collaborative ecosystem that supports Malaysia’s aspirations in research and innovation.
