He obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Osaka University in 2011, with a thesis on the total synthesis of cortistatin A.<\/p><p data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"1125\">His research explores fluorination chemistry, reaction development, and fluorinated molecules in drug discovery. Prior to his current role, he held postdoctoral positions at California Institute of Technology (Prof. Brian M.
