Dr. Muhammad Farid Nazer is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from King’s College London (2019) and MSci/BA in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge (2014).
His research focuses on bioengineered Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) for CRISPR/Cas9 delivery, vaccines, biomarker discovery, and nanomedicine & drug delivery, including therapeutic and biodistribution studies in murine cancer models.
He has over 1,000 citations (H-index 15), with publications in ACS Nano, Nature Nanotechnology, and Theranostics. He is the Assistant Secretary of MySEV, and a member of MyCRS and TESMA. His current grants (MOSTI, MOHE, UM) support EV-based innovations including nano-neutralising agents and lung cancer immunotherapy.
