The Tourist Information Centre (tel. +609-5161007; Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-noon and 3-5pm), operated by the Pahang State Tourism Board, is located on Jalan Mahkota opposite the Teruntum Complex. Getting There
By flight

A convenient way to get to Kuantan is by a quick flight from KL (approximately 50 min journey). Flights arrive at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport (tel. +609-6673666; airport code: KUA). Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia offer daily flights from KL. Just outside the airport is a taxi stand where you can get a cab to Kuantan for RM35 (about 15 min ride).

By Bus

Bus routes service Kuantan from all parts of the peninsula.Buses from KL usually depart from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and arrive at Terminal Sentral Kuantan (TSK). From TSK, you can take a taxi or Grabcar to IIUM (approximately RM15 for taxi; 7 min drive). You can book your journey from redbus, easybook or busonlineticket.
