The International Conference on Islamic Jurisprudence (ICIJ) is a flagship academic platform organized by the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh. Since its inception in 2006, the conference has brought together scholars, researchers, policymakers, and professionals to examine contemporary issues from the perspectives of Islamic jurisprudence, Maqasid al-Shariah, and related Islamic intellectual traditions. Over the years, the conference has addressed a wide range of emerging challenges, including Islamic finance, ijtihad and ifta\u02be, the jurisprudence of Muslim minorities, good governance, and, the upcoming one, artificial intelligence.<\/p>
